These are pictures I took with the Scanning Electron Microscope, my favorite toy at school. Behold!
This is a single bacteria on the surface of a fragment of a 6000-year-old human brain. I never realized bacteria have surface textures until I took this picture. This picture was taken at just under 20,000 times magnification, so it takes a lot to be able to see that. But I suppose it makes sense.
This is a picture of a single human hair at 1000 times magnification. Its my friend Tessa's hair, in case you were wondering.
