[After a long absence (sorry everyone!) I'm back on the internet, and catching up on posts I wrote a month ago.]

 

The hotel I stayed it is located in the old city of Aleppo, down a cobblestone alley on the edge of the souk. Incredibly charming.

The entrance to the hotel is the door at the end of the alley.

The plastic piece is covering the top of a well. Not sure why the well 

is located in a bathroom, but then again, maybe it makes perfect sense.

As in Greece, there are trellises with grape vines everywhere.
